1970s HOME TRANSFORMED
Doherty Design Studio collaborated with Nixon Tulloch Fortey Architects to transform this modest 1970s Merchant Builders home into a contemporary light-filled home for a family of five. The approach was to unify the new architectural additions (three pop-up structures across the north facade and roofline, master bedroom with ensuite and WIR, and child’s bedroom and study) into the existing house with consistent finishes throughout to pay homage to the home’s 70s origins.
